about
The Summoning is a 15-minute track that resulted from a collaboration between Amenra and the Belgian artist Kreng, who is mainly known for his movie and theatre scores. The song is taken from Kreng’s 2015 full album The Summoner, which is based around the 5 stages of grief. The Summoning's haunting organs and smoke-filled chambers lead you into Amenra’s earth-shaking wall of guitars, drums and bass.

I love the light and shade between Bryan's dirty and Emma's forlorn vocals. There are so many layers to this recording that are driven home through contrast. Plus the riffs are brilliant and get me moving. I can't stop listening to Thou and Emma in general lately. spaceman2250
Terry Venemous is releasing new music every 3 weeks this year. His latest EP is sumptuous art pop with a wry sense of detachment.
